Terms & conditions

The agreement between you and Cape Town Jacks when you buy a ticket and attend a session.

01

Who we are

Cape Town Jacks is a private, members-and-guests social organisation for adult men, operating in the Western Cape, South Africa. Events are hosted at third-party venues, currently CasaKink, 4 Engine Avenue, Montague Gardens, Cape Town.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Cape Town Jacks” mean the organisers of Cape Town Jacks. “You” means anyone who buys a ticket, attends an event, or uses this website.

You can reach us at info@capetownjacks.co.za, through the contact form on this website, or on Instagram at @capetown.jacks.

02

Who may attend

Cape Town Jacks events are strictly for men aged 18 or older. You must be 18 or older to use this website, buy a ticket or attend an event.

We may ask for photo identification at the door. Entry may be refused where age cannot be confirmed, and no refund is payable in that case.

We welcome adult men of every age, body type, background and level of experience, including trans men. We do not tolerate discrimination, body shaming or harassment of any kind.

03

Tickets and entry

Tickets are sold online through FIXR. A limited number of tickets may also be bought at the door, subject to capacity, by card only — we do not accept cash. A door ticket does not guarantee you a locker.

  • Doors open at the advertised start time and close strictly 40 minutes later. There is no late entry.
  • Your ticket admits one person only and must be presented at the door.
  • Ticket information must be accurate. If you buy for another guest, you must make sure he receives and understands the Bro Code before he attends.
  • Tickets may not be resold at a profit or advertised publicly for resale.

When you buy through FIXR, FIXR’s own terms of sale also apply to that transaction. If you cannot attend, email info@capetownjacks.co.za before the session starts: we will move your ticket to another date at no charge, or refund it depending on the notice you give. FIXR booking fees and bank charges are not refundable. Our Refunds & Ticket Policy sets out the detail.

04

The Bro Code

Every guest agrees to the Bro Code as a condition of entry. The Bro Code forms part of these terms and is binding on all guests.

Anal penetration, fingering, anal toy sharing and rimming are never permitted at any event. No exceptions.

05

Consent

Consent must be clear, ongoing and freely given. Consent to one activity does not imply consent to another, and anyone may withdraw consent at any time.

Armbands communicate a guest’s current boundaries but are never a substitute for asking. A verbal refusal, moving away or any sign of discomfort always overrides an armband.

06

Sober space

Cape Town Jacks is a sober space. Alcohol, cannabis and recreational drugs may not be brought to or consumed at our events, and you may not arrive intoxicated or impaired.

Anyone unable to communicate clear consent will be refused entry or removed, without refund. Poppers are permitted when used responsibly and considerately, and must never be combined with erectile-dysfunction medication. Prescribed personal medication is permitted but may never be shared.

07

Privacy and recording

Photography, video and audio recording are prohibited inside the event space, and phones may not be used there.

You may not disclose the identity or attendance of any other guest, or discuss another guest’s private conduct outside the event. Breaches of privacy may result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.

08

Health

Do not attend if you are unwell, infectious or experiencing symptoms that could place another guest at risk.

Oral play and close sexual contact carry a risk of transmitting sexually transmitted infections. Every guest is responsible for his own sexual-health choices, and we encourage regular testing and informed decisions about prevention. Nothing on this website is medical advice.

HIV-positive men are welcome. No guest may be shamed, excluded or pressured to disclose private medical information.

09

Refusal of entry, removal and bans

We may refuse entry to, or remove from an event, any person who:

  • breaches the Bro Code or these terms;
  • ignores another guest’s stated boundaries;
  • appears intoxicated, impaired or unwell;
  • behaves aggressively, or damages the venue or another person’s property; or
  • cannot confirm that he is 18 or older.

Depending on the seriousness of the conduct we may issue a warning, remove the person from the event, refuse future entry, or impose a permanent ban. No refund is payable where a guest is removed for breaching these terms or the Bro Code.

10

The venue

Our events are hosted at third-party venues. While you are at the venue you must also comply with that venue’s own rules and any lawful instruction from venue staff.

We are not the owner or operator of the venue and we do not control its premises, facilities or equipment.

11

Your belongings and risk

Secure storage is provided for personal belongings, but items are left at your own risk and we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage except where the law says otherwise.

Participation in any activity at an event is voluntary and at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence.

12

Changes to events

We may change the date, time, venue or format of an event, or cancel it, where circumstances require. We will notify ticket holders as soon as reasonably possible using the contact details supplied at the time of purchase.

Where we cancel an event, our Refunds & Ticket Policy applies.

13

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time you buy a ticket is the version that applies to that purchase. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.

14

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The courts of the Western Cape have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you have a complaint, please raise it with us first through the contact form so that we can try to resolve it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

15

This website and the Bro chat

We try to keep this website accurate, but session details, prices and availability can change. The FIXR event page at the time you buy is the final word on your ticket.

Bro, the chat assistant on this website, is an automated AI assistant, not a person. His answers are general information taken from the Bro Code and these terms, can be wrong, and are not medical, legal or professional advice. If an answer conflicts with the Bro Code or these terms, the Bro Code and these terms apply.
