Cookie policy

The short version

This website sets no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies, and it does not track you from site to site. Nothing is stored in your browser unless it is needed to make something work. That is why there is nothing to accept or decline.

This policy explains what is stored, and which outside services your browser may connect to while you use the site. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.

What we store in your browser

• Cookie notice: when you close the notice at the bottom of the page, your browser remembers that in its local storage (the key is ctj-cookie-notice) so the notice does not appear on every page. It holds no personal information and is never sent to us.
• Security token: the page includes a short-lived security code that proves a form was sent from this website. It is part of the page, not a cookie, and expires on its own.
• Site administrators only: if you log in to manage the website, WordPress sets the cookies it needs to keep you logged in. Visitors never log in, so they never receive these.

Page views are counted on our own server, without cookies and without anything being stored in your browser. The Bro chat does not store anything in your browser.

Outside services

Some features rely on other companies. When your browser connects to them, they can see your IP address and may set cookies of their own, under their own policies:

• Google Maps: the venue map only loads when you press “Show map”. Until then, nothing is sent to Google Maps. The “Get directions” button opens Google Maps in a new tab.
• FIXR: ticket buttons take you to FIXR’s website, where FIXR’s own cookie and privacy policies apply.
• Instagram and other links: links to Instagram, our venue and support organisations take you to their websites, where their policies apply.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. This website will keep working if you do; you may just see the cookie notice again.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics, advertising or anything else that is not strictly necessary, it will stay switched off until you choose to allow it, and this policy will be updated first.
