ABOUT CAPE TOWN JACKS

The concept of Cape Town Jacks originated during the Covid-19 pandemic when a group of individuals connected over video and chat platforms to enjoy each other’s company and engage in mutual masturbation play. As the pandemic subsided, the desire to maintain that energy in a physical space persisted. Many men face anxiety within hookup culture, emphasizing penetration, leading to mental health challenges, performance issues, and body image struggles. Cape Town Jacks seeks to create an environment where social connection takes precedence over sexual encounters.

Inspired by esteemed masturbation clubs like Rain City Jacks and New York Jacks, Cape Town Jacks aims to connect like-minded men and foster a culture of social masturbation in South Africa.

Cape Town Jacks welcomes individuals who primarily express sexuality through masturbation, as well as those seeking alternative social experiences. We are a diverse community of men attracted to men or women, preferring long-term partnerships, polyamory, NSA play, or solosex. Our members span the spectrum, from the conventional to the adventurous, creating a fantastically diverse community of authentic men connected through the shared experience of social masturbation.

“Jacks” are genuine, sexually vibrant men who embrace nudity, horniness, and the most universal sexual act among humans: masturbation. Cape Town Jacks also provides a trans-male-friendly space.

By eliminating the need to search for sex partners, discuss or disclose HIV status, or negotiate safe sex parameters, the jack-off club offers a hygienic and comfortable environment. Our events are drug-free, as we believe that sober fun is the best kind. Poppers are permitted at events, but it’s crucial to be mindful of their varying effects on individuals.

While we consider self-pleasure and mutual play low-risk for contracting STDs, we encourage all participants to prioritize their sexual health and undergo regular STD screenings for peace of mind. In our club, we do not enforce sexual roles like “tops or bottoms,” and there is no meaningful distinction between gay, bi, and straight individuals.

Our goal for events is to create an inclusive environment that embraces diversity in terms of age, race, orientation, physical appearance, and background. We have a strict code of conduct that prohibits ageism, racism, and body shaming in any form. Participants must adhere to these guidelines; failure to do so will result in being asked to leave the event and being unwelcome in the future.

Our Vision

Re-connect South African men with their own sexual and sensual selves and eliminate the stigma around jerking off as only a “foreplay” or “pre-sex” activity but to see the true power in solo and mutual masturbation.  To create a supportive community where men create healthy connections and new friendships and overcome any insecurities or loneliness that the hookup culture has created.
